Kosovo—Government Bolsters Defense Budget To Help With Army Transition

The Kosovo government has increased defense spending for 2019 as part of its plan to transform the lightly armed Kosovo Security Force into an army, reports the Balkan Insight. The new budget allocates 58.7 million euros (US$66.5 million) for defense spending, an increase of 6 million euros US$6.8 million) from last year.
