On Thursday, the Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs announced the country would sanction Russians with Estonian-issued Schengen visas, report ed Baltic News Network.
Over 53,000 Estonian short-term visas have been issues and over half will be affected.
The visas will remain valid, but the visa holders will be sanctioned and refused entry into the country.
The decision is expected to be enforced beginning August 18.
