Government forces have launched a new attack on the rebel-held city of Misrata in eastern Libya, CNN reports.
Rebels said that thousands of troops were involved in the attack from three sides, with no NATO response, reported the Herald Sun (Australia).
Troops attacked early Wednesday morning, with 13 rebels reported dead by evening.
Qaddafi loyalists were said to have infiltrated rebel lines in cars bearing rebel flags.
