Government Approves Anti-Ship Missile Purchase

The Romanian government has approved a planned purchase of coastal defense systems through the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program, reports Defense News.
The proposed deal for Naval Strike Missiles would include four mobile launch vehicles; a command, control and communications platform; transport vehicles; sensors; initial logistics support; and testing equipment, said the Romanian Ministry of Defense.
The U.S. State Dept. approved the purchase in October 2020.
