Government Approves 2.7 Percent Defense Budget Boost

The Thai government has approved the defense budget proposal for 2020, which includes a 2.7 percent increase over the 2019 budget, reports Forecast International (Conn.). Under the budget, defense spending would increase by approximately US$200 million to US$7.6 billion.
