Later this year, the Washington could launch an anticipated repositioning of U.S. troops to better confront challenges from China and Russia, reports Reuters.
On Thursday, Defense Secretary Mark Esper said he wants to put the military in a better posture by the beginning of fiscal 2021 in October.
Esper was in Miami reviewing U.S. missions in Latin America as part of a major evaluation of the U.S. force posture.
