Six police officers have been killed in eastern Afghanistan.
A suicide bomber blew himself up Wednesday at a checkpoint in Ghazni province, UPI reports.
The incident took place in the Qara Bagh district, said the provincial police chief.
The attack was apparently followed by a gunfight between militants and police, the chief said.
Other casualty figures were not immediately available, reported CNN.
