German Bundestag Approves PULS Rocket Launcher Acquisition

The German Bundestag has given approval for army procurement of Israeli-made Precise and Universal Launching System (PULS) rocket artillery. PULS manufacturer Elbit Systems teamed with European defense contractor KNDS to put forward the offer to Berlin. The proposal won out over an offering from Lockheed Martin and Rheinmetall to supply the German army with the similar Global Mobile Artillery Rocket System (GMARS).
