General Dynamics says the latest round of trials of the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV) has confirmed the soundness of the design, reports the San Diego Union-Tribune.
The vehicles have been scheduled for use by the Marine Corps.
The vehicle excelled during last week's performance testing at Camp Pendleton, Calif., and would be ready for production in 24 months, according to General Dynamics.
