The head of the Air Force has ordered a study on possible future threats and potential responses, reports the Air Force Times.
Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz has directed the Air University to investigate threats up until 2035 and consider how nanotechnology, biotechnology, nuclear power and directed energy in the laser and microwave ranges could be used to counter attacks, said Col.
