Gates Offers Surplus MRAPs To Allies In Afghanistan

Defense Secretary Robert Gates has promised to supply surplus mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicles and to provide more access to classified information to U.S. allies in Afghanistan, reports the Dept. of Defense.

Much of the technology is highly classified and not normally shared.
