Government auditors say that the U.S. Army can expect to spend up to $2 billion in additional costs over the next 10 years should it decide to keep four combat brigades in Europe rather than two, reports the Army Times.
NATO will soon assess a U.S. Army Europe basing plan that was proposed by the Dept. of Defense in February as part of the 2010 Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR).
