The Yantar Shipyard in the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad has launched work on a new frigate for the Black Sea Fleet, reports RIA Novosti.
The shipyard received a four-year contract for three Krivak IV-class frigates in October.
The frigate will be named Admiral Grigorovich after Russia's naval minister from 1911 to 1917.
