Two Malian citizens have been injured after a Tunisian man threw an explosive device at the French embassy in the capital of Bamako, Bloomberg News reports.
The homemade bomb was a gas cylinder set alight by the suspect, said Mali's Ministry of Internal Security and Civilian Protection.
The man also fired several rounds late Wednesday from a semiautomatic pistol before being arrested. The suspect said he is a member of Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), said police. ...
