Founder Of Oath Keepers Charged In Jan. 6 Attack

Prosecutors in the District of Columbia have charged 11 people with seditious conspiracy and other crimes related to the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, reports the Dept. of Justice.

Among those charged on Thursday were Oath Keepers founder and Army veteran Elmer Stewart Rhodes III, 56, of Granbury, Texas, also known as Stewart Rhodes.

Police also arrested Edward Vallejo, 63, of Phoenix, Ariz., for involvement in the attack.
