The U.S. Coast Guard transferred a retired Hamilton-class high-endurance cutter to the Bangladeshi navy last Wednesday, reports the service.
The former Rush (WHEC-723) was handed over to Bangladesh during a ceremony in Alameda, Calif.
The Coast Guard's Office of International Acquisition will support the vessel during a six-month maintenance, upgrade and training period. A total of US$7 million of equipment will be delivered and installed on the ship, according to a USCG...
