Former Presidential Guardsmen Caught, Accused For Armory Raid

Ten former members of Burkina Faso's presidential guard are in custody in connection with the raid of an armory last week, says an army official cited by the Voice of America News.
Gunmen raided the armory on Friday outside of Ouagadougou, the nation’s capital.
The 1,500-strong unit was loyal to former President Blaise Compaore, who was ousted from power in 2014. The group was disbanded after attempting a coup in September 2015.
