Former President Surrenders On Contempt Of Court Charge

Former South African President Jacob Zuma has turned himself into police, reports BBC News.
Zuma surrendered on Wednesday after being sentenced to 15 months in jail for contempt of court.
Police warned the former president that he would be arrested if he did not turn himself in before midnight. Zuma initially indicated he would not surrender.
He was admitted to the Estcourt Correctional Center in the KwaZulu-Natal province.
