Security officials in Egypt say former President Hosni Mubarak has fallen into a coma, reports the Guardian (U.K.).
Ousted in January 2011, Mubarak was transferred from a prison hospital to a military hospital on Tuesday after his heart reportedly stopped due to a blood clot in the brain.
The 84-year-old former president, as of Wednesday, was reported to be off life support with fully functional organs.
