The Chinese military may create a local military command in the newly established eastern city of Sansha to administer an island sovereignty dispute, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
The State Council has already approved the creation of a new prefectural-level administration for the Xisha, Zhongsha and Nansha island groups and their surrounding waters in the South China Sea in Sansha.
A government seat would be placed on Yongxing Island, which is part of the Xisha...
