Foreign Ministry Denies Report About Arms Sales To Ivory Coast

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry has denied reports that the government shipped weapons to Ivory Coast in violation of U.N. sanctions, reports the Telegraf (Belarus).

A recent U.N. report identified illegal arms shipments to Ivory Coast from a number of African and European nations. These weapons were reportedly used in fighting in the West African country in 2010 and 2011.
