Turkey says it will take countermeasures if the U.S. levies sanctions over its purchase of Russian air-defense systems, reports the TASS news agency (Moscow).
Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stated that Ankara was ready to take retaliatory steps during an interview with TGRT on Monday.
He declined to elaborate on the exact steps Ankara would take.
