Defense officials have acknowledged that the U.K. Ministry of Defense is looking for foreign personnel for extra training billets left by British personnel dismissed earlier this year, reports London's Daily Telegraph.
Around 170 British pilots were dismissed from service earlier this year as part of cost-cutting efforts under the strategic defense review.
Because the trainees were dismissed on such short notice, the staff and equipment for their training are still in service...
