French President Nicolas Sarkozy has replaced his foreign and defense ministers as part of a Cabinet shakeup, reports the BBC.
Michele Alliot-Marie will replace Bernard Kouchner as foreign minister, while Alain Juppe will become defense minister in place of Herve Morin.
Alliot-Marie is the former justice minister, while Juppe was once prime minister.
Prime Minister Francois Fillon, who was recently expected to be replaced, has been retained.
