The Philippine navy has taken delivery of two decommissioned landing craft donated by Australia, reports the Australian Dept. of Defense.
The Balikpapan-class utility landing craft Tarakan and Brunei were recommissioned into Philippine naval service during a Thursday ceremony at HMAS Cairns in Queensland.
In Philippine service, they will be known as the Ivatan (AT-298) and Batak (AT-299), respectively.
