Following Discovery Of Smuggling, Navy Head Steps Down

The head of the Estonian navy has resigned his post after the discovery of a smuggling ring on a warship, reports the Baltic News Service.

Capt. Sten Sepper submitted his resignation on Nov. 22, taking responsibility for the smuggling of liquor and tobacco on the Sakala (M-314) minehunter, which was discovered on Nov. 11, said the Defense Ministry.
