Following Delivery, Friesland Patrol Vessel Faces More Tests

Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding has delivered the third of four Holland-class ocean patrol vessels to the Netherlands Ministry of Defense, reports the Dutch shipbuilder.

The Friesland, which was handed over on Wednesday, is scheduled to begin an extensive testing and work-up program.

The ship has not yet been fitted with its Thales integrated mast module, which is scheduled to be installed in early 2014.
