Following Deal With African Union, Burundian Peacekeepers To Stay In Somalia

The government of Burundi has halted its announced plans to withdraw its troops from the peacekeeping mission in Somalia (AMISOM), reports the East African (Nairobi, Kenya).

The African Union and Burundi finalized a deal to extend the peacekeeping mandate, the A.U. said on Friday, as reported by Turkey's Anadolu Agency.
