Following 4 Military Aircraft Crashes, Punishments Meted Out To Dozens Of Officers

At least 40 Vietnamese military officers have been disciplined in the wake of four aircraft crashes this year, reports Tuoi Tre News (Vietnam).

The announcement about the punishments were made by a military political commissar to legislators in Hanoi on Wednesday.

An Su-30MK2 fighter crashed during a training flight in June. A C-212 patrol aircraft also went down while searching for crewmembers from the stricken jet.
