The Burundian government on Friday signed a peace agreement with the Pelepehutu Federation for National Liberation (FNL) rebels, reports the Times of Zambia.
The FNL is the last active rebel group in the country.
The accord was reached during a one-day summit in Bujumbura, the capital of Burundi, which included heads of state and government from regional neighbors and other stakeholders in the peace process.
