President Obama has nominated Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn to head the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), reports the Hill (Washington, D.C.).
Flynn, currently the assistant director of national intelligence for partner engagement, has been an outspoken critic of U.S. intelligence operations.
He has also served as the director for intelligence operations at the Joint Staff and Joint Special Operations Command.
