Flying Boats Join IRGC Fleet

The Iranian Defense Ministry says it has delivered three squadrons of upgraded flying boats to the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), reports Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency.

The domestic radar-evading Bavar-2 is designed to conduct patrol and reconnaissance missions, said the ministry.

The flying boat is equipped with a machine gun, night-vision and reconnaissance equipment that can record and send images and data, said the agency.
