Flight Data Recorder From Missing Fighter Discovered 2 Years After Crash

Taiwan has recovered the black box from a fighter that disappeared off its coast nearly two years ago, reports the Taipei Times.

The flight data recorder was located on Oct. 3 by a research vessel leased from the Taiwan Ocean Research Institute.

The Mirage 2000-5 disappeared on Nov, 7, 2017, about 90 nautical miles (170 km) off the coast of Taiwan’s northeast Keelung province about 30 minutes into a training flight.
