Fledgling Border Police Pick Up Tips From U.S. Marines

A contingent of U.S. Marines is in the West African nation of Benin this month to train that country's National Surveillance Police, reports the Marine Corps Times.
A squad-size element from 3rd Battalion, 8th Marines, part of Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa, began the month-long mission on Aug. 31, with the intent of helping the Beninese police to secure its borders.
