Authorities in Turkey charged that Syrian security forces have shot at a refugee camp on Turkish territory, reports the New York Times.

Three people were wounded Sunday six miles inside Turkish territory, said Turkish government officials.

Snipers shot refugees trying to flee Syria, said a member of the rebel Free Syrian Army.

There are around 24,300 Syrian refugees in Turkey, according to the Turkish prime minister's office.
