Final Showdown With Al-Shabaab Will Require Outside Help, Says Prime Minister

The prime minister of Kenya is seeking help from the E.U. and United States to make a "final onslaught" on the Somali port of Kismayo, the BBC reports.
Kismayo is the final remaining stronghold of Al-Shabaab, Prime Minister Raila Odinga told foreign journalists on Tuesday in Nairobi.
Kenyan troops should reach the port city by August, but the government needs financial help, he said.
If foreign troops could also be provided, "so much the better," Odinga added.
