The Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force has taken delivery of its last Q-5 strike aircraft from the Jiangxi Hongdu Aviation Industry Group, reports the Chinese Ministry of Defense.
A ceremony was held last week to mark the event, noted the ministery.
The Q-5 is a light supersonic attack aircraft developed in China in the 1960s.
The aircraft is designed to support ground operations by attacking deep targets at low altitude.
