Tribal groups have been involved in a gun battle in Bangladesh's restive Chittagong Hill Tract region, leaving six people dead, Reuters reports.
At least six others were wounded in Friday's hour-long fighting in the Rangamati hill district, said police.
The cause of the fighting was said to be unclear, thought the groups involved are known to differ on supporting a truce with the government.
