Frontline Indian air force fighters departed this week for France to take part in joint training at Istres Air Base, reports the India Press Information Bureau.
About 230 Indian airmen are taking part in the drills along with six Su-30MKI fighters, three Il-78 aerial tankers and an Il-76 cargo aircraft.
The June 14-25 drills are the first for the Indian Su-30MKIs in France.
