The high tempo of military operations and a new policy on medical discharges has cut the percentage of personnel that are suited to be deployed, reports the Australian.
The Medical Employment Classification system indicates that there has been a 4-5 percentage point decrease in the proportion of personnel deemed fully fit over the last four years, according to statistics reviewed by the paper.
