Female Kurds Train Arab Women To Battle Islamic State

A Syrian Kurdish group has announced that it is expanding its operations to include Arab women who want to fight the Islamic State, reports the Independent (U.K.).

The Kurdish Women's Protection Units (YPJ) is also stepping up its activities directed at the assault on the ISIS capital of Raqqa in eastern Syria, a group spokeswoman said.
