FBI Efforts Disrupted Attacks Around July 4, Says Director

The FBI says arrests last month thwarted several attacks planned around July 4, reports Reuters.
At least 10 people were arrested before the Independence Day holiday who had been inspired by the Islamic State terrorist group, said FBI Director James Comey on Thursday.
Some had been communicating with ISIS through encrypted data, said a security source.
"I do believe our work disrupted efforts to kill people in connection to the Fourth," said Comey.
