The decommissioned carrier Forrestal, being towed from Naval Station Newport, R.I., is scheduled to arrive Friday at the Naval Sea Systems Command's inactive ships facility in Philadelphia, the Navy Times reports.
The Forrestal faces disposal, but exactly how has yet to be decided. Two options are being considered: Sink the ship as a reef or sell it for scrap, said Navy officials.
