Fatah Seeks International Force For Gaza

The Palestinian Authority's representative at the United Nations last week told an emergency session of the General Assembly he would ask the Security Council to authorize an international force for Gaza if Israel and Hamas cannot agree to a cease-fire, reports the Jerusalem Post.
The proposal is part of the Fatah-led government's efforts to gain traction in the ongoing diplomatic efforts, which have thus far focused on Egypt's attempts to broker a truce.
