After more than five decades of warfare, Colombia's FARC rebel group has rebranded itself as a political party, reports CNN.
The group finished disarming in June.
FARC announced on Aug. 31 that it was naming its new political party the Alternative Revolutionary Force for the Common People, with the same FARC acronym. The rebel FARC name referred to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia.
