The British Royal Air Force has deployed several of its new F-35B Lightning stealth fighters to Cyprus for the first time, reports the U.K. Ministry of Defense.
The F-35Bs from 617 Squadron flew from their base at RAF Marham in Norfolk to RAF Akrotiri, where they will spend six weeks as part of Exercise Lightning Dawn.
