F-35 Testing Delays May Push Cost Up $1 Billion, Says GAO

The Government Accountability Office says the cost of the F-35 Lightning II stealth fighter program could rise another $1 billion because of testing delays, reports the Hill (Washington, D.C.).
The report, published on Monday, recommends completing developmental testing before making "significant new investments" in the program.
