United Kingdom—F-35 Lands On Prince Of Wales Carrier For 1st Time

For the first time, a fighter jet has touched down on the Royal Navy's second Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier, reports the service. The F-35B short-takeoff-and-vertical-landing stealth fighter landed on HMS Prince of Wales as part of sea acceptance trials off the south coast of England, the Royal Navy said in a release on Wednesday.
