Japan—F-2 Jet Loses Canopy During Scramble

A Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) fighter lost its canopy while flying over southwestern Japan, reports the Kyodo News (Tokyo). On Sunday, the F-2 fighter was scrambled to verify a possible violation of Japanese airspace by a foreign aircraft, said the defense ministry.
