F-15 Upgrades Sought From U.S.

The U.S. State Dept. has approved a potential modernization of Japanese F-15J fighter jets, reports the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency.

The possible US$4.5 billion deal covers upgrades to 98 aircraft.
